Give to Lincoln Day 2020

In the month of May, the Lincoln Community Foundation promotes giving back by offering a $500,000 matching challenge. All donations made to The Bridge on, May 1 through May 28, will be matched by the foundation. Consider supporting The Bridge this month with a tax-deductible gift of any size – $50 or $5,000 – to help us serve the community and provide essential substance use treatment to those who can’t afford it. In addition to online giving, donations can also be made by check to the Lincoln Community Foundation with “The Bridge Behavioral Health” in the memo line.

Lincoln Journal Star – Thanks for Giving

Since 1983, the Journal Star has asked local human services agencies to share stories of real people with real needs as part of its Thanks for Giving project — and readers have stepped up every year.

Several of The Bridge’s clients are included in the article. If you are interested in helping out, donations can be made through the link above or mailed to The Bridge Behavioral Health at 721 K St. Lincoln, NE 68508.

Amazon Wish List

The Bridge relies on donations of toiletries and personal care and clothing items to ensure that everyone who comes through our doors can have a dignified and productive experience, regardless of ability to pay. Our Amazon Wish List includes items our clients are frequently in need of, from AA books to personal hygiene items. If you select and purchase an item directly off of the wish list, it will be conveniently shipped directly to us at The Bridge. Keep in mind that these items are just suggestions – we accept any brand and any quantity that you are willing to donate!

Gift and Estate Planning
Use your will and estate plan as a tool to make a difference for years to come. One does not have to be wealthy to make a planned gift! Gifts of amount make a meaningful difference. Contact Executive Director Tammy Stevenson to discuss planned gifts.
