Intake & Admissions
On-demand admission, based on bed availability.
Who's Eligible?
Evaluation Requirement
To enter residential treatment, clients must have a drug and alcohol evaluation completed within the past six months.
- If you already have one, we will have you send it to us by email or fax.
- If you don’t, we can help get you scheduled or connect you with community providers who offer this service.
Our admissions team will walk with you through each step, ensuring you understand your options and have access to the right level of care.

Important Considerations
When was their last use?

More Than a Day Ago
Do I need an appointment?
Withdrawal and respite services are available without an appointment; however, they depend upon bed availability. Residential treatment requires an evaluation and may have a waitlist.
Can I have visitors?
Respite and Withdrawal beds typically do not allow visitation; however, counselors may approve visits on a case-by-case basis as part of an individualized plan of care.
All visits must be approved by a counselor and take place in designated areas. Regular visiting hours are Friday, 5:00pm-7:00pm, and Saturday/Sunday, 12:00pm-2:00pm.
Can I bring my pet?
Only ADA-compliant service animals are allowed. Emotional support animals are not recognized under ADA.
What can I bring with me?
We usually prefer people to bring around 7 days’ worth of comfortable clothing and personal hygiene products (deodorant, toothbrush, toothpaste, etc.). If you would like, bring a book to read or a magazine.
See our “What to Bring” guide for a detailed list of approved items.
Please note: all clothing is laundered on arrival; bedding is provided
How long will I stay?
Regardless of what program you are a part of, the length of stay is largely determined by your specific needs, progress, and the amount of work you’re willing to put into your recovery. Our team works closely with each client to determine what timeline best supports their success.
- Withdrawal: 3–7 days (up to 10)
- Respite: 7-14 days
- STR Residential: 30–60 days
- IR Residential: 3–12 months
- Outpatient: 6–8 weeks
All of our services are voluntary.
Are we allowed to have our phones during treatment?
No. You will have the opportunity to get the numbers you need during the admissions process. For confidentiality and the safety of other clients, we require clients to use our phone line for outgoing calls.
Can I smoke or vape while in treatment?
No. The Bridge is a tobacco- and vape-free campus. However, nicotine patches and gum are available for those who need them.
Do you give medication to help with withdrawal?
During detox, you may have some withdrawal symptoms. We do have medications to help with those symptoms, but they’re given on a case-by-case basis. We’ll continue to assess your symptoms and provide medical and non-medical support to help you safely navigate the withdrawal process.
Do I have my own room?
We have a men’s dorm and a women’s dorm, as well as partial-private (one roommate) and private rooms (alone) for our respite and withdrawal services. For residential treatment, you will have at least one or two roommates per room.
Can I still go to work?
No. Bridge is an inpatient facility, so attending work during treatment is not permitted.
