Jamie is best known for his appearances on Comedy Central Presents and Premium Blend, where today’s best comedians are featured. He’s lost both Last Comic Standing and Star Search. He has been seen over 50 times on Fox News Redeye while managing to have no political views. He is currently writing and will be starring in a new television series with Rob Schneider.

Jamie performed stand up long before he became sober but he now uses comedy to help heal from his addiction to alcohol which would leave him dangerously depressed. He’s living his dream of performing comedy with a purpose. “I want to perform for smart people that love to laugh and maybe need to laugh because of what they are battling,” he said.

Construction has begun!

A new commercial kitchen is under construction adjacent to The Loft. The kitchen will be used to serve our clients in treatment daily so meals will no longer have to be picked up from the county jail.

The Bridge's Board of Directors toured The Loft space which is currently getting a much needed upgrade. The space is still usable for weekend self-help meetings.

Ayers & Ayers has begun the first phase of construction. It is a bit noisier than usual around here these days but it is the sound of progress!

On the first floor, a new concrete floor has been poured in a previously-unfinished warehouse space. Framing has begun in this area which will become a welcoming new reception area for the general public and those coming for outpatient services. The space won’t be fully functional until next year when administration can move upstairs.

Additionally, demolition has begun in the storage area adjacent to The Loft. By the end of the summer, this underused space will be a fully functional commercial kitchen! A first for our agency!

The Loft space – frequently used by self-help groups – will get a bit of an update as well! Enough wooden floor planks were saved from the kitchen that workers will be able to patch a very worn area of The Loft floor. The entire floor will be refinished to really spiff up the space.

Finally, a coffee bar is being added to The Loft thanks to some generous donors!
